Saga Favorites Wall

Your favorites, drifting behind the password screen

The poster wall is now one reusable component. Give it any set of posters and it builds tilted columns that drift past each other. On the left it runs with real posters from a sample of titles, the way a returning user would see their own favorites. On the right, the same component runs the current sign-in with brand art. Your actual list replaces the sample as soon as you send it.

The component

<PosterWall
  posters={sources} // brand strips or poster images
  columns={4} // drift past each other, alternating direction
  speed={1}             // ~15–20 pt/s at 1
  tilt="-8deg"
/>

One frame clock drives every column (transform only), the same engine as today's sign-in wall. It stills with Reduce Motion, while the keyboard is up and in the background. Posters come in through expo-image with disk caching, so a wall of 25 small posters costs about 400 KB once.

Whose favorites, and when

  • Only on the device you last signed in on. When a session ends, the app keeps your favorite poster paths locally (secure storage) and shows them on the next Welcome back.
  • Never looked up by email. Fetching someone's favorites before they've proved who they are would let anyone see your taste by typing your address.
  • "Not you?" clears it and falls back to the brand art. Deleting the account or signing out of all devices clears it too.
  • Where favorites come from: your list for now. In the app it could be your top-rated Seen titles, or a new "favorite" mark on a title.
